The Vacancy
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting or finance. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience across a range of accounting tasks while receiving full on-the-job training and support from our experienced team.
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to start a career in finance. You’ll have a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, based at our Dennistoun office

As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you’ll learn to:
- Work within all areas of the finance team – including credit control and accounts payable
- Help maintain accurate financial records and systems
- Carry out general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and emails
- Provide a professional and friendly service to both customers and employees
Training will be provided through on-the-job learning and guidance from experienced members of the finance team.
Preferred skills and experience:
- No previous experience necessary as all training will be provided in-house
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Good IT proficiency – comfortable learning new software
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive, and keen to develop new skills
